WHo WE ARE
The Latinx Voces en Salud Campaign is a national multimedia campaign and is the 2019-2020 advocacy initiative of the Latino Caucus for Public Health, a caucus of the American Public Health Association. This campaign is an effort to raise awareness on latinx public health issues that pervade latino communities and impact families across the country and the Americas. Through social media, photos, videos, and blogging we will push forward to raise awareness to policymakers, researchers, and public health leaders. This campaign aims to empower latinos to talk about public health issues and solutions, share stories and research, and join a national movement to enable the latino community to make a difference together.
VISION
To inspire and empower; to speak up and speak out; to advocate and increase awareness in and about latino public health issues.
MISSION
The objective of the Latinx Voces en Salud Campaign is to bring initial attention, awareness, and action on latinx public health issues in the US and the Americas through the voices of students, public health professionals, and families. The campaign serves as an Advocacy initiative of the Latino Caucus for Public Health.
